Stone grinding is an ancient agricultural technique which our company has used continuously since 1853.

This type of working leads to the production of meals rich in bran, fibre and germs, valued elements in a correct and healthy diet.


For this reasons La Grande Ruota is one of the few mills that has never abandoned this traditional method to offer foodies a whole wheat flour that safeguards the nutrient rich heritage of the grain, thanks to its lower crushing and the slow processing.
